自從1921年開始，SAFRAN VECTRONIX AG公司的前身WILD公司在瑞士Heerbrugg 地區建立了瑞士最優異傳統光學觀測和精確工程測量儀器發展和製造領域的王國。1986年公司更名為WILD LEITZ 更在1990年成立了大家耳熟能詳的 LEICA光學工業集團，1997年成立了各個專業部門的事業群(包含LEICA相機部門、LEICA顯微鏡儀器事業群、LEICA大地測量系統事業群)並開始實施和維護ISO 9001:2000及ISO 14001:1966的品質管理系統。

     在2003年由LEICA 光學工業集團獨立出來專門生產軍事用途的專業光學觀測、測量裝備，產品導向著重於將早期傳統光學觀測設備整合數位電子模組的傳感器, 使裝備體積更小功能更加多元化也更易於使用；2015年VECTRONIX 公司更被網羅合併於SAFRAN航太集團之下，為一專業整合及製造軍用手持光學觀測設備、武器光學結合設備、火砲定位定向目標獲得系統、光電感測模組、後勤技術顧問技術提供,居於同領域領先地位的專業軍用觀測設備製造提供者。
